The University of Hohenheim will publish even more up-to-date figures on 18 July 2025 in the annual report of the Gender Equality Representative. BACKGROUND to the CEWS Ranking 2025

The CEWS ranking of the Center of Excellence Women in Science and Research is based on the most current figures of the Federal Statistical Office. It distinguishes between three types of university: universities (including colleges of education and theology), universities of applied sciences and administrative colleges, as well as colleges of art and music. The aim of the university ranking is to present the gender equality successes of universities in a nationwide comparison, and in doing so differentiated according to various areas (e.g. students, academic qualifications, staff, and changes over time).
